Tales of Ta'veren MUSH

Of the first tier of Tarabonner nobility, the House of Sahudaan is tied by blood and oath to many houses, mighty and lowly, yet is reviled as untrustworthy and wily. The Sahudaan family is phenomenally wealthy, gifted with rich deposits of gold on its estates, centered upon the walled port-town of Delhabar on the coast just beneath Toman Head. The House is notorious for its predatory mercantile policies, often extracting financial pledges to houses and enterprises deeply leveraged by debt, pledges that leave the House coiled about the affairs of their victims, siphoning off goods and materiel as payment for debts that the borrowers can never seem to repay. The Sahudaans are known to accept payment in unorthodox ways, be it closely guarded information, soldiers, or even young women and men of rare beauty - often sons and daughters dispatched as "wards" who wind up as concubines or other demeaning positions.

Through the maternal line, they are closely affiliated with House Sulamaad, with Lord Bazaf Onan ibn Sahudaan
